WhatsApp personal is free, yes. But WhatsApp Business via the official API charges for conversations beyond the first 1,000 free per month. Meta bills you directly, not us. Many small businesses stay inside the free tier.
7-step wizard in the app: create a Meta Business account, create a WhatsApp app, grab the App ID + token + Phone Number ID, paste them into the box. ~15–30 minutes the first time.
We offer 3 routes: (1) the official WhatsApp Cloud from Meta (recommended), (2) WhatsApp Business On-Premise (Meta), (3) a local Baileys gateway for simple use cases. Route 3 is unofficial and stays at your discretion — it is disabled by default.

The Connect (10 €) and Premium (19 €) plans include automatic 4G failover. If the fibre drops, the box switches to the 4G SIM on the EC25-EUX modem (band B28 / 700 MHz for range), with no intervention needed. You keep getting SMS, calls and WhatsApp.
Exactly. SMS arrive on your mobile number and are visible in the app to anyone on your team you authorise. Your assistant reads, replies, archives — the client always sees your mobile number as the sender. Nobody has to carry your personal phone around.
You pull out the SIM, drop it in an old phone, and you keep receiving your calls and SMS like before. No cloud dependency on an account that could get locked. The box stays your server, not a throwaway access card.
Yes. The code runs as locally encrypted binary on your CM4. SMS and WhatsApp conversations and call history are stored on the box, in an encrypted SQLite database. Nothing transits through obscure third-party servers. Essential for medical, paramedical and legal practices bound by professional secrecy.

Yes. Self-hosted IVR on the box (“Press 1 for emergencies, Press 2 for a quote…”), DTMF routing, voicemail straight in the app. Configurable from the admin without touching the Asterisk dialplan.

No, never. Meta bills your Meta Business account directly for official WhatsApp Business beyond the free quota (1,000 conv/month). The local Baileys gateway (Premium) is free on the Homenichat side. We don't take a cent per message.
